  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Help for Selecting Number of Adapters ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. Use this window to select the number of Sound Galaxy 16 AUDIO Adapters that you 
  5. have installed in your system. The maximum number of Sound Galaxy 16 AUDIO 
  6. Adapters supported by MMPM/2 is one. 
  7.  
  8. If you select zero, then you will de-install all Sound Galaxy 16 AUDIO Adapters 
  9. that have been previously installed by MMPM/2.

  12. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for selecting 16 bit Audio Board values ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  14. On this screen, you specify the values that you want to use with your Sound 
  15. Galaxy 16 AUDIO Adapter.  The values are described below.

  17. If you choose Close from the system menu, the selected values are set back to 
  18. the default values.

  20. Select Ok to save the selected values and continue.

  22. DMA Channel 
  23.  
  24. This field allows you to select the DMA channel for the Sound Galaxy 16 AUDIO 
  25. you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the correct DMA 
  26. channel for this card.

  28. The valid DMA Channels are: 
  29.  
  30. 0, 1, and 3 
  31.  
  32. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  33. install), it might be necessary to change the DMA channel. To change the DMA 
  34. channel setting: 
  35.  
  36. Perform a selective installation and select the new DMA channel, 
  37.  
  38. or 
  39.  
  40. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new DMA channel (It is the value immediately 
  41. after the /D on AZT16DD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and reboot.

  43. Interrupt Level 
  44.  
  45. This field allows you to select the interrupt level for the Sound Galaxy 16 
  46. AUDIO you have installed in your system. Use the drop down box to set the 
  47. correct interrupt level for this card.

  49. The valid interrupt levels are: 
  50.  
  51. 2, 7, and 10, 11 
  52.  
  53. If the device driver fails to initialize (during system reboot following 
  54. install), it might be necessary to change the interrupt level. To change the 
  55. interrupt level setting:

  57. Perform a selective installation and select the new interrupt level, 
  58.  
  59. or 
  60.  
  61. Edit the CONFIG.SYS, specify the new interrupt level (It is the value 
  62. immediately after the /I on AZT16DD.SYS line of the CONFIG.SYS), and reboot.
